Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital has several inpatient and outpatient facilities for brain and spinal cord injury survivors of all ages. The facility in Ft. Thomas, KY, offers care for those who need long-term acute care, while the facility in Lexington is devoted to returning patients to the maximum amount of function possible.

The Brain Injury program accommodates people of all ages, from childhood to adult, and is available to patients at any level of recovery after injury, from coma to mild deficits. The Spinal Cord Injury program is a transdisciplinary program that promotes a team approach to care and recovery. Patients have access to a wide variety of specialists, who continue to evaluate and reset goals as progress is made.

Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), as well as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

The Frazier Rehabilitation Center comprises a 135-bed inpatient hospital at the Jewish Hospital Medical Campus, plus outpatient centers located throughout Kentucky. Frazier has both Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury programs, both of which serve patients of all ages. The Frazier Rehab and Neuroscience Center, where brain and spinal cord injury patients are treated, features private suites and bathrooms, therapy gyms, and multipurpose dining rooms for meals, educational purposes, and recreational activities.

The Brain Injury program treats patients at all states of recovery—from coma to mild deficits—and has a staff of clinicians that specialize in different areas of brain injury, including anoxic and hypoxic brain injury, brain injury as a result of exposure to toxins, brain tumors, and traumatic brain injury.

The Spinal Cord Medicine program treats injuries that result from injury, disease, or congenital abnormalities, using cutting-edge technologies.
